Crafting this powerful chest armor requires the DLC content because the essential crafting materials—runes—only drop in the new zones and bosses featured there. In my gameplay, obtaining the Shroud became a highlight achievement. The crafting process forced me to explore all corners of the DLC content and master combat mechanics against the most challenging foes. The final reward felt well earned, not random luck.
