Even though it's unlikely to happen overnight but the final result of Madden's switch to Frostbite will be a great thing for the Madden franchise. The thought of EA possibly introducing an "story feature" to Madden is making me feel like a child at Christmas time. It won't be an easy transition however, and Madden 25 may suffer because of it. Once the dust has settled a couple of years from now and we'll all be content. EA has incorporated its Frostbite engine in Madden.
There are more pressing issues to be concerned about, particularly for those who exclusively plays online however, the CPU AI is still displaying the kind of bizarre decisions that completely kill the immersion of players by not being akin to reality even in the least. It's good to see CPU quarterbacks kicking the ball farther downfield than they have done in the past however there are CPU coach that require some improvement for them to be able to mimic human behavior. I was in double-digit deficit in one game, and I had no timeouts remaining, yet the CPU was playing stretch plays on the first down with just under two minutes left. It's not rocket science, it's simple math. There's no excuse to make something that's easy to miss.
